ABOUT

Pedro Romero is a Vancouver-based commercial production designer and narrative art director. He has production designed imaginative and impactful sets for blue-chip brands such as Mercedes Benz, Google, Guinness, BMW, and Armani. Recently, he has moved into narrative work, art directing the Disney-Plus feature Prom Pact and the psychological thriller and Showtime hit, Yellowjackets.

Pedro believes great production design stems from a strong understanding of character. He sees production design as key in informing the narrative and pushing the story forward. It’s by starting with an understanding of character, that unique and original environments flow.

Although based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Pedro works globally, and has designed commercial projects throughout Canada, the US, the UK, and South America. When he’s not working, Pedro likes to mountain bike and snowboard in the Sea to Sky corridor with his family.
